*لقاء دولي في ضيافة رئيس جامعة سوهاج للريادة العالمية*
أكد الدكتور حسان النعماني رئيس جامعة سوهاج خلال لقاء موسع مع Mrs. Nontsikelelo Kote نائب رئيس جامعة نورث ويست، والوفد المصاحب لها ان جامعة سوهاج تمضي بخطى واثقة نحو تعزيز مكانتها إقليميًا ودوليًا من خلال بناء شراكات استراتيجية مع الجامعات المرموقة، وهو أحد المحاور الأساسية في استراتيجية الجامعة نحو التميز، بما يسهم في تطوير المنظومة التعليمية والبحثية بالجامعة.
وقال النعماني انه خلال اللقاء تم مناقشه اوجه التعاون المشترك ووضع استراتيجية نحو استحداث برامج أكاديمية حديثة ومتطورة تواكب المتغيرات العالمية وتلبي احتياجات سوق العمل المحلي والإقليمي والدولي، بما يسهم في إعداد خريجين يمتلكون المهارات والمعارف المطلوبة للمنافسة بكفاءة، وذلك تنفيذًا لتوجيهات القيادة السياسية التي تضع تطوير التعليم الجامعي وربط مخرجاته بمتطلبات التنمية الشاملة على رأس أولوياتها.
وأضاف الدكتور اشرف عكاشة مدير العلاقات الدولية بالجامعة ان اللقاء شهد استعراضًا شاملًا للإمكانات الأكاديمية والبحثية والبنية التحتية المتوفرة لدى كلٍ من الجامعتين، حيث قدم الجانبان عرضًا تفصيليًا للكليات والبرامج الدراسية والتخصصات المتميزة، إلى جانب انه تم الاتفاق علي عمل شهادة مشتركة في الزراعة والتعاون البحثي فى مجال الزراعي، البدء فى تنفيذ برامج مشتركة ولقاءات افتراضية كل أسبوعين بين أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالكليات المختلفه بين الجامعتين، وتبادل الطلاب خاصة بكلية الطب وقسم القلب فيما يخص الأبحاث العلمية وتبادل الخبرات.
وأعرب الوفد عن سعادته بالتواجد في هذا الصرح العلمي العملاق، مشيدين بالجامعة والتى تعد من أسرع الجامعات نموا في أفريقيا فيما يخص التصنيفات العالمية، حيث استطاعت الجامعة ان تقفز ف عام واحد ١٦٢ مركزا، كما اشادوا بما لمسوه من تطور كبير وإنجازات متتالية داخل جامعة سوهاج، مؤكدين أن ما تحقق يعكس رؤية قيادية طموحة وجهودًا متميزة يقودها الدكتور حسان النعماني، رئيس الجامعة، في تطوير البنية التحتية والارتقاء بالمنظومة التعليمية والبحثية، بما جعل الجامعة نموذجًا واعدًا ومؤسسة أكاديمية تسير بخطى ثابتة نحو التميز والريادة.
حضر اللقاء من جامعة سوهاج كلا من الدكتور خالد عمران وحسين طه نواب رئيس الجامعة، الدكتور أشرف عكاشة مدير العلاقات الدولية بالجامعة، الدكتور النميري زناتي عميد كلية الحاسبات والذكاءالإصطناعي، الدكتور محمد نصر عميد كلية الطب، الدكتور محمود المنشاوي عميد كلية الصيدله، الدكتور طلعت علي عميد كلية الهندسه، الدكتور خلف عميد كلية الزراعه، الدكتور محمد حسني نائب مدير المستشفى والدكتور ياسر عبدالفتاح أمين الجامعة المساعد.
وقد ضم وفد جامعة نورث ويست كلا من Dr. Soobramoney Shernic مدير مركز العلاقات الدولية، Prof. Frederick Abraham Kotze عميد كليات الطب، Prof. Petra Bester مديرة الأبحاث بكلية الطب – Prof Sithandiw نائب العميد لضمان الجودة، Letlotlo Patience مساعد المدير التنفيذي للمشروعات الإستراتيجية.
International Meeting Hosted by the President of Sohag University for Global Leadership
Dr. Hassan El-Numany, President of Sohag University, affirmed during an expanded meeting with Mrs. Nontsikelelo Kote, Vice President of North-West University, and her accompanying delegation, that Sohag University is moving confidently toward strengthening its regional and international standing through building strategic partnerships with prestigious universities. He noted that this is one of the key pillars of the university’s strategy toward excellence, contributing to the development of its educational and research systems.
Dr. El-Numany stated that the meeting discussed areas of mutual cooperation and the formulation of a strategy to introduce modern and advanced academic programs that keep pace with global changes and meet the needs of local, regional, and international labor markets. This would help prepare graduates with the skills and knowledge required to compete efficiently, in line with the directives of the political leadership, which places the development of higher education and linking its outcomes to comprehensive development priorities at the top of its agenda.
Dr. Ashraf Okasha, Director of International Relations at the university, added that the meeting included a comprehensive review of the academic, research, and infrastructural capabilities available at both universities. Both sides presented detailed overviews of their faculties, academic programs, and distinguished specializations. It was also agreed to establish a joint degree program in agriculture, strengthen research cooperation in the agricultural field, begin implementing joint programs, hold virtual meetings every two weeks between faculty members of the various colleges at both universities, and promote student exchange—especially in the Faculty of Medicine and the Cardiology Department—with regard to scientific research and expertise exchange.
The delegation expressed their pleasure at visiting this great academic institution, praising Sohag University as one of the fastest-growing universities in Africa in terms of international rankings, having advanced by 162 places in just one year. They also commended the remarkable development and consecutive achievements witnessed at the university, emphasizing that what has been accomplished reflects an ambitious leadership vision and distinguished efforts led by Dr. Hassan El-Numany in developing infrastructure and advancing the educational and research منظومة, making the university a promising model and an academic institution progressing steadily toward excellence and leadership.
The meeting was attended from Sohag University by Dr. Khaled Omran and Hussein Taha, Vice Presidents of the University; Dr. Ashraf Okasha, Director of International Relations; Dr. El-Nomairy Zenaty, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence; Dr. Mohamed Nasr, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Mahmoud El-Menshawy, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Dr. Talaat Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Khalaf, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. Mohamed Hosny, Deputy Director of the University Hospital; and Dr. Yasser Abdel Fattah, Assistant Secretary-General of the University.
