Vision
Department of Turkish Language aspires to be a leading center for teaching Turkish language and literature, and for specialized scientific research in the fields of language, literature, and translation, keeping pace with academic and cultural developments, and contributing to strengthening cultural communication between Egypt, Turkey, and the Turkic world in general.
Mission
Turkish Language Department aims to produce distinguished graduates in Turkish language, literature, and translation, possessing the linguistic competence and cultural knowledge that qualify them to compete in the local and regional job market, and to contribute to the fields of translation, education, and scientific research, while promoting the values of cultural openness and dialogue between peoples.
Department Objectives:
1.To equip students with advanced Turkish language skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking;
2.To develop their abilities to analyze literary and critical texts using modern methodologies;
3.To train qualified personnel capable of practicing translation to and from Turkish in various fields;
4.To support scientific research in the fields of Turkish language, literature, translation, and cultural studies:
5.Strengthening academic and cultural ties with Turkish universities and institutions
6.Contributing to community service through seminars and specialized Turkish language courses
7.Promoting values of tolerance and mutual understanding between Arab and Turkish cultures
